Philanthropy & Social Impact

Navneet Mandhani’s social impact work has been a quiet but consistent thread running through 13 years of building in Dubai and India. Rather than treating philanthropy as a corporate exercise, he has approached it as a personal responsibility, funding causes directly, without press releases or public announcements.

His support for the LV Prasad Eye Institute in India has contributed to restorative eye care programmes that restore sight to patients who would otherwise have no access to treatment. In Chennai and Hyderabad, he has funded children’s shelters providing safe housing, education, and care for vulnerable young people.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when thousands of workers in Dubai were stranded and unable to travel home to their families in India, Navneet personally facilitated and funded their repatriation, doing so privately and without seeking recognition.

In Dubai, he is an active supporter of the Dubai Autism Center, which provides therapy, education, and community integration services for individuals with autism and their families. His view is that genuinely inclusive urban development, the kind Karma Developers pursues in its residential communities, must extend beyond the built environment into the social fabric of the city.

He also dedicates time to mentoring early-stage founders and entrepreneurs, particularly those building in underserved sectors or markets, providing access to networks, capital thinking, and long-horizon strategic guidance.
